Category Image Anticipation

As we wait with bated breath for the release of the teaser trailer (apparently it will be available in seven to ten days), I was astonished to see a posting of the pre-production photos on World Movies.

I have recovered from the laborious three day shoot of the teaser. Kudos to the cast and crew for a fantastic job. They were efficient and very professional.

I cannot express in mere mortal prose the admiration I have for the talented Kipleigh Brown. She was a trooper in some of the harshest situations associated with any location shoot. Yet she ascended to greater heights of excellence and performed her role perfectly, take after take. She is the right actor for this role. When the trailer becomes available, I am certain you will all agree.

Category Image An interesting few weeks

Well it has been an interesting few weeks. James called me the other day regarding the legal framework involved in the financing of Yesterday Was a Lie. I am excited and privileged to be a part of this project. After a couple of years attending James' various theatre productions, I am convinced he is a talented and proven writer/director.

Went out with some of my friends to one of those celebrity-drenched club/bar/functions up on Sunset, which will remain unnamed since I find such events pretentious and stifling. As a writer/producer, it is particularly important to remain visible and accessible to the movers and shakers of Hollywood, however arduous the task may seem.

I can't seem to get a copy of the 2002 French horror film "Malefique," which is being remade into an American version. John Pogue ("The Fast and the Furious," "Ghost Ship") apparently pitched it to Neal Moritz and Paramount.

Ciao.
